About Me:

Hello!  My name is Andrew Stevens and this is my portfolio of work done as a graduate student for the Instructional Design and Technology Program at George Mason University.

In 2010, I graduated from Lynchburg College with a B.A. in Communication.  In the months and years following, I earned the professional IT certification, CompTIA A+ from the Computing Technology Industry Association, and was employed at the Lab School of Washington as a member of their Information Technology Department.  Working at the school transformed the nature of my engagement with technology as the job required a multifaceted approach with training and context considered.  

Working alongside the educational technology department saw my interest in where technology and education meet grow and I began looking for possible directions of where my career could go.  The end result of my search was my enrollment as a student for the Instructional Design and Technology Program!
